Joining a group is a great way to get to know people and share a common interest. We have many different groups that meet regularly for a diverse range of activities. We’re sure there will be something that would be of interest to you.
The Mothers’ Union supports families by:
- developing prayer and spiritual growth
- reflecting on family life and marriage and its place in society;
- providing resources for practical action to improve conditions for families.
The group meets at 2.30pm on the 2nd Friday of the month in St. Leonard’s Hall
Parish Women’s Group
The Parish Women’s Group is a social group that meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month, at 7.45pm, in St. Leonard’s Hall.
Encompass is a social group which meets at 2.00pm on the 3rd Monday of the month in St Luke’s Church providing an opportunity to make new friends or chat to old ones. Each meeting has a different speaker or activity and is followed by sandwiches, cake and tea then plenty of time to talk together. All ages are welcomed.
The Craft Club
The Craft Club is for crafters of all ages to come and share an afternoon of craft together. It meets on the 1st Thursday of every month,from 2.00-4.30pm in St. Luke’s.
St. Luke’s Coffee Morning (plus a bring-and-buy) happens every Wednesday from 10am-12noon.
Parish wide Men’s Breakfasts and Dining Evenings are held occasionally.
Wednesday Lunches are open to anyone from the churches and beyond on the first Wednesday of each month at 12.45 in St. Leonard’s Hall. Good food in good company!
