St Luke's Centre may be the ideal venue for your perfect occasion!

Whether you are looking for somewhere to hold your child's birthday party, venue for a wedding reception, special anniversary celebration, a dinner party or perhaps a more formal business setting such as a seminar, conference or meeting - then you will find that St Luke's Centre is the ideal venue! As well as our own activities, we currently provide facilities for local young people, including brownies and scouts. We hold holiday clubs for both young and old as well as coffee mornings and many other varied social gatherings. The facilities at St Luke's Centre easily lend themselves to running courses, such as craftwork, art, or dancing. Recent training courses held have included one dealing with Food Hygiene. Maybe you are searching for a suitable exhibition or sales promotion venue!

We have two halls available for hire. The smaller one, built in 2006, can accommodate about 30 people when un-partitioned. If the soundproof partitions are used it is perfect for the smaller business meetings, or social gatherings. Seating throughout is totally flexible. A wide range of folding tables are available. In the larger hall there is a curtained stage at one end, whilst at the other there is a white drop down screen suitable for computer graphic presentations. Seating suitable for children is also available.

The larger hall can comfortably accommodate 80 to 100 persons. Whichever hall you chose you will find that they are light, spacious, extremely well maintained, but above all provide a welcoming environment. Our excellent on-site facilities include a recently built kitchen, shown here, which is fully equipped and has the benefit of a serving hatch. Crockery and cutlery are available for use if required. An 'induction loop' system is fitted throughout the Centre for those whose hearing is impaired. The premises has new and compliant toilet facilities for the disabled and there is ease of access to the whole facility. There is ample unrestricted on street parking around the Centre.

The Centre is also on a bus route operated by Brighton & Hove Buses - Route 12 travels the A259, alight at Chyngton Gardens and Route 12A for Chyngton, Walmer Road, with buses running at a frequency of every 10 minutes for much of the day - both of these routes connect with Seaford Railway Station.

Bookings can be on a regular weekly or monthly basis or simply as a 'one off' hire.
