| Cafe Luke
2008 June 20th July 18th August 15th September 19th October 17th November 21st December 19th Cafe Luke opens from 7.30 to 10.00pm.

Friday 16th May saw the launch of a cafe style worship evening at
St Luke's. Cafe Luke will continue to be held once a month on the third Friday
from 7:30pm (Café opening) to around 9:30/10pm. The worship will start
at 8pm and finish at approximately 9pm. Café Luke will be aimed at young
people in school year 6/7 and above, however, all ages are welcome to come
along. Fairtrade
refreshments will be served throughout the evening. There will be a children's chill-out zone for the under 10s if needed and also a prayer room for quiet reflection. The aim of Café Luke is to reach out to young people in the community and share God's love with them, to provide them with opportunities for worship, discussion, personal spiritual development and space to explore the Christian faith. Also, for those young people already involved in the Church, an opportunity to deepen their faith and commitment to Christ. |
