Church |
Built
some 40 years ago, St. Luke's Church is situated in the Chyngton area of the
town. The church building has a dual purpose design in that at one end is a
chancel (which can be screened off), whilst at the other end there is a stage.
Flexible seating allows the church to be used for varying styles of formal and
informal worship and for many groups and organisations.
Worship here ranges from the
traditional to the contemporary, with the informality of the Charis service
being held here monthly. St. Luke's has a warm, caring fellowship and visitors
to Seaford are always welcome to share in worship.

Evening
Worship Evening Worship is held twice monthly at
St. Luke's Church. Each service takes a different theme and format, each is
contemplative and gives worshippers time to reflect and consider a range of
issues. Music is generally contemporary in style and is often lead by the music
group. |
|
Informal
Worship Informal Worship takes place at St. Luke's on the first Sunday of
each month at 11.15am after a shortened communion service at 10.00am. The
worship is reflective, worshipful and contemporary using drama, talks, verse
and music to help all the church family to share in worship. |
