The town of Seaford is situated on the coast in East Sussex, about halfway between Brighton and Eastbourne, and next door to the ferry port of Newhaven. The town is home to some 23,000 people, and caters well for its inhabitants, with shops, health care professionals, schools, pubs and restaurants and leisure facilities....and, of course, churches.
It is located in an area of natural beauty, nestling at the feet of the South Downs, and bordering on the Cuckmere valley, with its beautiful meandering river. The town lies at the edge of the cliffs, and walking on Seaford Head, at the top of the cliffs, looking across at the stunning views of the Seven Sisters,is a popular local pastime.
For many others the beach is the attraction, and there are folk who swim in the sea here every day of the year, regardless of the weather!
