Saturday 11th February: Rosemary Kemp (Piano)

Rosemary Kemp, formerly a scholarship pupil and prize winner at the Royal College of Music London.

 

Saturday 3rd March: Fiona Hosford (Harp)

Fiona's repertoire ranges from Classical music, the Beatles, through to Light Jazz and popular Modern Classics.   

 

Saturday 14th April: Practicall Musicke

Practicall Musicke has been in existence as a group for twenty years in various guises but always with the same two core members.

 

Saturday 5th May: Duo Figaro- Lucia D’Avanzo violin  and Peter Mallinson viola

A violin-viola duo based in London. Duo Figaro will play a programme including works by Rolla and Spohr.

 

Saturday 16th June: David Force- Organ

David studied as an Organ Scholar at the University of Durham and is currently Head of Academic Music at Eastbourne College.

 

Saturday 14th July: Piano 4 Hands

Ana Luísa Monteiro studied in the Lisbon National Academy of Orchestra. Ana Margarida has performed as soloist and chamber musician in concerts in The Netherlands, Portugal and England.

 

Saturday 4th August: The Brighton Chamber Ensemble

Founded by a group of friends in 2010, the Brighton Chamber Ensemble is a versatile, mixed ensemble of strings and wind players from the Brighton area.

 

Saturday 8th September: Lucy Williams (Mezzo Soprano) Gregg Isaacson (guitar)

Lucy was born in Sussex and read English at Oxford before studying Concert Singing. Gregg studied at The Royal Irish Academy of Music and Trinity College Dublin and at The Royal Northern College of Music.

 

Saturday 20th October: Sebastian Grand- piano

Having recently graduated Seb has already gained numerous awards for his outstanding pianism and musicianship.

 

Saturday 17th November: Buxted Symphony Orchestra

Charity Concert for St Cecilia’s Day, Patron Saint of music

Lunchtime Concerts in St. Leonard’s Church

All these concerts start at 1.00pm and last an hour. Entry is free with a retiring donation.
