Worship

Our parish offers a variety of worship, both on Sundays and during the week, so that everyone can find a service to suit their needs.
Holy Communion is at the heart of Anglican worship, when we gather round the table to share in the bread and wine, in remembrance of Christ's death on the cross for us. This service is offered every week, in both churches, mostly in the modern language of our contemporary Common Worship. However, it is also offered in traditional language on occasion, using The Book of Common Prayer.
We also offer worship without Holy Communion, usually of a more informal nature. Hence you will find The Meeting Place at St. Leonard's and Energise at St. Luke's, or Matins for those wishing to be less informal. In addition, we offer more relaxed occasions for worship on a monthly basis: Messy Church at St.Leonard's and Cafe Luke at St.Luke's.
