Growing in Faith

As a church we believe in the importance of developing our understanding of the Bible, which is key to our growth in faith. We also believe that the Bible speaks to us in our everyday situations. We hope that you will be able to make use of the opportunities available to further your understanding of God's work in his world and in your life.

Family Life

We believe that as Christians we are called to live our family lives according to God's loving plan for our relationships.

Our church is here to support us as families, in our marriages and in our parenting, so that we may grow in our love for each other, and in our understanding of God's purposes for us in our family and also that we might find help when loving becomes difficult.

From time to time courses are run for anyone who would like to attend:

The Marriage Course: The Marriage Course has been designed by Nicky and Sila Lee of Holy Trinity Brompton, where Alpha courses began. Coming to a marriage course is not a sign that your marriage is in trouble! In fact the evenings are designed for any married couple wishing to build a strong and lasting relationship, and include topics such as Communication; Resolving Conflict; Forgiveness; The Impact of Family - Past and Present.

There is no group discussion and no requirement for anyone to disclose anything about their relationship to anyone else. The course, while based on Christian principles, is very helpful for any couple with or without a Christian faith or church background. It includes some DVD material, some brief talks, and lots of time for each couple to talk together, and  begins with a meal.

However long you have been married, this course could be a treat for you.         The Marriage Course
