 As a church we believe in the importance of developing our understanding of the Bible, which is key to our growth in faith. We also believe that the Bible speaks to us in our everyday situations. We hope that you will be able to make use of the opportunities available to further your understanding of God's work in his world and in your life.

Alpha Courses

An opportunity to explore the meaning of life.
What is the point of life? Is forgiveness possible?
What relevance does Jesus have for our lives today?

The Alpha Course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening, low key, friendly and more way.

All are welcome, especially equirers, newcomers to the church and any who would like to look afresh at some of the fundamentals of the Christian faith. Alpha courses are usually held twice a year in the parish, during the autumn at the St. Leonard's end of the parish and early in the year at St.Luke's, in the Chyngton area.
